Hello Readers! I am your author/owner of this website, Diane Rustand. My home is in Slinger, Wisconsin about 30 or so miles north of Milwaukee. I have lived in states with warmer climates most of my life, e.g., Tucson, AZ; San Antonio, TX; Tampa, FL. Even though I’m used to living in warmer climates, Milwaukee is not a bad place to live even if it gets cold and snows. The beauty here in the Midwest lies in the Spring and Fall seasons.
Most of my life has been spent taking care of people in the nursing profession. Nursing is a wonderful fulfilling profession; however, it can be hard on one’s body. Lifting sleeping patients from operating room tables to stretchers and then lifting them from stretchers to their beds on the wards has helped to tear up my back to the point that I cannot do that kind of work anymore. However, I am using my knowledge and experience to write articles on this blog. For that reason, I believe that if you read my blog, you will learn a lot about a great variety of topics.
